Last updated on NOVEMBER 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Coherence - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Customer is using Oracle Coherence version 12.2.1.x.x and has a Coherence*Extend setup to access partitioned cache in the remote cluster. One of the customer's application requires us to support JCache, so they would like to use the same infrastructure and customer wants to get clarify that coherence*extend application client only specify coherence cache configuration file and to extend the same extend client setup for JCache remote cache access what additional configuration is required.

In documentation page it was said that JCache applications must use a tangosol-coherence-override.xml operational override file or Coherence system properties, or both, to configure Coherence operational settings if required.
