How To Generate ExaReport on Exalogic Guest vServers running on April 2017 PSU and Later (Doc ID 2252509.1)

Purpose

This document provides a CLI procedure to generate ExaReport on Exalogic Guest vServers running Oracle Linux 6.x (OL6) and Oracle Linux 5.x (OL5)

This procedure is NOT applicable to Exalogic Physical Linux or Exalogic Solaris systems.

Scope

ExaReport is a tool used to understand the patching status of Exalogic Rack Components.

It gives an User Interface based report in HTML format and lists the components with the patching status of Current Version and Expected Version.

ExaReport generates the report for the following rack components:

Infiniband switches, ZFS storage, ZFS Iloms, Compute Nodes, Compute Node Iloms, Control and Guest vServers.
