Symptoms

To migrate from two old Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g servers (e.g., PROD-OLD and UAT-OLD) to two new OID servers (PROD-NEW and UAT-NEW), a Directory Replication Group (DRG) was created using Enterprise Manager (EM) 11g Fusion Middleware (FMW) Control.

After migrating all data from the old OID directories to the new OID directories using replication, the old servers were removed from the DRG and shutdown using EM 11g FMW Control.

However, the following errors were logged in the oidrepld*.log of PROD-NEW:

The errors show that PROD-NEW OID was still trying to contact UAT-OLD OID despite the fact that UAT-OLD was no longer part of the DRG.
