Symptoms

Single node Directory Integration Platform (DIP) 11g installed after Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g, by expanding an existing domain as per documentation:

Chapter 7 Installing and Configuring Oracle Directory Integration Platform

The installation gave an (unrecorded) error while registering the Enterprise Manager (EM) agent (EMAgent).

Now DIP service is down:

The log new errors indicate the OID host and port are "null" however they show correctly in dip-config.xml.
