Goal
An image included in a WSRP Portlet is not rendered when it is consumed in WebCenter Portal. When the underlying Portlet code references an image using a relative URL, the image is not displayed. Whereas, if the image is referenced using an absolute URL, image displays, but page refreshes repeatedly without user action.
A review of the image (hyper) link when the Portlet is consumed in WebCenter Portal looks like this:
http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/webcenter/resourceproxy/~.portletId~.....<really...long...string...of...characters...>...../myImage.gif
What is the correct way to include image in a WSRP Portlet such that it displays when consumed in WebCenter Portal?
