Adding Assets to Site Studio (SS) Websites via Site Studio Designer (SSD) Search Form Link Generates Error with Bundle.js (Doc ID 2256751.1)

Symptoms

All version from 11.1.1.9 and greater exhibit this problem. (not presenting in earlier version including 11.1.1.8)

Adding assets using Site Studio Designer, Clicking the 'Search Form' Link causes a bundle.js script error.

  1. Open SS website
  2. Click on asset panel
  3. Select Page Template
  4. Click on + button to add asset to this website
  5. On the popup window, click on the Search Form
  6. A popup appears with this script error
An error has occurred in the script on this page

Error: Unable to get property 'fieldName' of undefined or null reference
URL: /cs/resources/bundle.js
  1. Click 'yes' button. The search form displays and the processing continues
  2. Possible to select the asset and add it to the SS site.
