Last updated on SEPTEMBER 23, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate - Version 12.2.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
There is a need to replicate ROWID as part of a Initial data load from Oracle --> SQL Server.
When setting the TOKEN value for the extract process it does not write the ROWID information to the Trail File Header.
Real-time extract able to capture the ROWID, but not working on Initial load capture. The ROWID is showing as NULL in the trailfile.

Goal

There is a need to replicate ROWID as part of a initial data load from Oracle -> SQL Server.

When setting the TOKEN value for the extract process it does not write the ROWID information to the Trail File.

The Initial load Extract process is not grabbing the rowed via "GETENV' or setting the TOKEN. Why?
But when i do incremental extract then it is picking up the ROWID.
