Related Field Appears In Inspect Mode When The Asset Doesn't Have Associations Enabled

Goal
Explain why the field Related appears in Inspect Mode (no value, blank field) and not in Edit Mode for Definitions for which the Asset Type don't have Associations created.
Is it expected behaviour for 11.1.1.6.1 or later?
How to test:
Admin UI:
1) Created a new flex family: TestAsset_test_A (Flex Attribute), TestAsset_test_PD (Flex Parent Definition), TestAsset_test_CD (Flex Definition), TestAsset_test_P (Flex Parent), TestAsset_test_C (Flex Asset),TestAsset_test_F (Flex Filter)
2) Enabled the new asset types for FirstSite2 site
3) Created a new attribute TestAssetTestName (Name), Description (PName),Attribute Type (string)
4) Created four new TestAsset_test Definitions: DGM Product_test, DGM Product_test2, DGM Product_test3, DGM Product_test4
4) Created two Asset Associations for TestAsset_test_C (Flex Asset) which has TestAsset_test Asset Type:
- PageList (Name), Page List (Description), Recommandation (Child Asset Type), DGM Product_test2 (TestAsset_test Subtypes), Exists - Any approved...(Mirror Dependency Type), Single valued (Type of Association)
- RelatedList (Name), Related List (Description), Recommendation (Child Asset Type), DGM Product_test (TestAsset_test Subtypes), Exists - Any approved...(Mirror Dependency Type), Single valued (Type of Association)

5) Created three New TestAsset_test Definitions
- DGM Test1 (Name), DGM Product_test3 (TestAsset_test Definition) -> saved it -> NO Related field appears in Edit mode but appears in Inspect View
- DGM Test2 (Name), DGM Product_test (TestAsset_test Definition) -> saved it -> Related field appears in Edit mode and Inspect View
- DGM Test3 (Name), DGM Product_test2 (TestAsset_test Definition) -> saved it -> Related field appears in Edit mode and Inspect View
- DGM Test4 (Name), DGM Product_test4 (TestAsset_test Definition) -> saved it -> NO Related field appears in Edit mode but appears in Inspect View
