Generic REST Connector Not Replacing Attribute Name With it's Attribute Value in relURIs. (Doc ID 2262103.1)

Last updated on JULY 26, 2023

Applies to:

Identity Manager Connector - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Generic REST Connector is not replacing generic attribute names with it's attribute values in relURIs. The same relURI when used with $(__UID__)$, the dynamic value is substituted successfully.

But it does not work with generic attributes such as username, firstname etc.

1) Build Generic rest connector using  metadata generator. Sample Schema file :

3) Tried the following combinations in the " relURIs " parameter

"__ACCOUNT__.CREATEOP"=/../../../v1/acctadmin/user/$(__USERID__)$/a
dd"

But the request reaching the target is a hard coded value:

"POST /../../../v1/acctadmin/user/$(__USERID__)$/add"
