Goal

This note will document the steps required to package and run an ASDK application from within a WebLogic managed server.

The below steps refer to the jps-config.xml file which is only present if the WebLogic server includes a fusion middleware component such as OAM or OIM. In a standalone WebLogic server installation the the necessary components are not present by default. Before the below steps can be completed on a standalone WebLogic server the following must be done:

  1. Download and install the ADF developer runtime.
  2. Run the RCU from oracle_common/bin/rcu and select the option to install the OPSS schemas. It will automatically select the dependent options needed.
  3. Run the WebLogic server config.sh to create a domain and select the EM and JRF template pieces.
