Symptoms

 OID 11.1.1.x

Oracle Metadata repository Database 12c

Listener configured to accept only TLS 1.1. or 1.2 connections

OID unable to start due to failure to connect to database

"TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error."

 

Changes

 DB listener is configured to listen with TLS 1.2
When setting up OID 11g (11.1.1.7 And 11.1.1.9) to connect to the Metadata
repository database and use the SSL port where SSL_VERSION=1.2
connections fail.
