(Doc ID 2263334.1)
Last updated on APRIL 10, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
If you use the expanded form of the search page and you select a value to search on for an option list, it uses a matches (LIKE) operator and an SDATA section to run the query. If you use the query builder, the default operator is CONTAINS which operates much differently than a matches operator and can contain results of 'Digital Catalog Canada' in a string search of 'Digital Catalog'. It also does not appear to use an SDATA section which is a potential major performance hit.
