Alternate File Is Deleted During Resubmit of Content Item, Causing Webviewable Link to Fail to Open the Item (Doc ID 2263948.1)

Symptoms

When checking in a content item, a separate alternate file is selected and is checked in. The webviewable and native file links correctly open the files once the item is released.

If this item is resubmitted from Repository Manager, the alternate file is deleted from the file system. Instead, the native file is copied to the weblayout directory but renamed to the name of the alternate file.

This causes the webviewable link to fail to open the file.
