Capture 12c Console throws a NullPointerException when clicking on a workspace (Doc ID 2269417.1)

Symptoms

After making modifications to security for the Capture workspace, clicking on the workspace returns the below error:


<ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #1
javax.el.ELException: oracle.adf.model.adapter.AdapterException: DCA-29000: Unexpected exception caught: javax.ejb.EJBException, msg=EJB Exception: : java.lang.NullPointerException

Also, the Capture log reports this error:
