Symptoms
On : 12.2.1.2.0 version, Oracle HTTP Server Upgrade
After performing an upgrade from 12.2.1.1.0 to 12.2.1.2.0 the upgrade documentation says to run startComponent.sh from
the ORACLE_HOME/oracle_common/upgrade/bin location. However, the script does not exist in this location.
It is expected that the documentation would provide the correct location of the startComponent.sh for post-upgrade startup.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Follow the Upgrade document to upgrade OHS 12c 12.2.1.1.0 to 12.2.1.2.0.
2. Following the Post-Upgrade documentation steps, one finds there is no startComponent.sh under ORACLE_HOME/oracle_common/upgrade/bin.
This can cause confusion and prompts one to question whether the upgrade was done successfully.
