Newly Added Salesforce Field Is Not Showing in ODI after Reverse Engineering (Doc ID 2275314.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.6, a new field / attribute added in Salesforce is not brought into the ODI model using the reverse engineering process.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Add a new column into a SalesForce table
  2. Reverse engineering the ODI model based on updated Salesforce table
  3. Show the model.
