Goal

Due to the known limitation with the use of Asset API in custom functions in GetUrlExpressions.groovy (as described in Publish hangs due to deadlock on publish target (Doc ID 1942810.1)), this KM provides ideas on the workaround to retrieve parent hierarchy to construct the vanity URL path without using Asset API.
