Last updated on MAY 04, 2023

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : HP-UX Itanium 11.31 with Tuxedo Version 12.1.3.0.0, 64-bit, Patch Level 089

Application server processes, in a Tuxedo defined configuration, stopped accepting all local and remote connections suddenly in the morning.
SQL errors started at 9:21AM for OPENMYINFO, a large file, and during this time of morning lots of users are accessing this and processing orders.
Some access is done via batch jobs and these continued to work without issue. The issue was only via "myappserver" processes that access would not work.
The myappserver processes are part of a Tuxedo ubb configuration defined.
Once Tuxedo configuration rebooted  errors went away and all connections from the Tuxedo configured domain worked.

The SQL errors, listed in the Tuxedo ULOG, are as follows:

092143.tuxmachine!myappserver.xxx.1.0: gtrid x0 x590b1366 x71dfe4: MWTP_CAT:1002: ERROR:SQL error -000002103:OPENMYINFO -MYINFO  -

Note: MWTP_CAT is from an application specific message catalog(that is to say, not a standard Tuxedo provided message catalog).
