Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.6 connected to Version Control System (VCS) Apache Subversion (SVN), when attempting to create a full tag with "Regenerate and Version Scenarios" option selected the following error occurs.

ODI 12242 – creating full tag

Errors in studio log :

[ecid: <ECID>] Creating full tag with name [<TAG NAME2>] from configured branch/trunk failed with error
[com.sunopsis.dwg.dbobj.SnpLoadPlan cannot be cast to com.sunopsis.dwg.DwgScenSource]

To reproduce the issue:

1. Login to the TRUNK ODI repository
2. Configure with SVN VCS
3. Create new project in SVN
4. "Add Non-Versioned Objects", select the options "Include Dependencies" and "Regenerate and Version Scenarios"
5. Create full tag "<TAG NAME1>", "Regenerate and Version Scenarios" option deselected
        => observe that this is successful
6. Create 2nd full tag "<TAG NAME2", "Regenerate and Version Scenarios" option selected
        => observe error ODI-12242.
