Goal
You have a clusteredOracle Access Manager 11g R2PS3 (OAM 11.1.2.3) servers in a two node cluster (<OAM_HOSTNAME_1> as oam_server1 and <OAM_HOSTNAME_2> as oam_server2).
You recently deployed custom plugin on this OAM cluster. After successful distribution, the activation failed.
The way to get around is manually setting the status of plugin oam-config.xml (followed procedure on how to manually modify oam-config.xml).
Can we do the following?
1) Shutdown oam_server1, modify oam-config.xml on oam_server1, and start oam_server1
2) Shutdown oam_server2, modify oam-config.xml on oam_server2, and start oam_server2
However, is there a way to avoid production downtime in order to put these changes in place?
