What Action Updates the 'Date/Time Last Modified' Field in the Enterprise Capture Batch Information Frame? (Doc ID 2282405.1)

Goal

After creating a batch in WebCenter Enterprise Capture (WEC), It was noted that the Modified Date shows "May 05".  After opening the batch and updating one metadata value, the Modified Date still shows the original date.  What causes this date to update?
