Filed To Install Tuxedo With OUI Error Message "Check If The DISPLAY Variable Is Set" (Doc ID 2285211.1)

Symptoms

While install Tuxedo 12.1.3 base product, user encountered the following failure:

/usr/opt/psoft/TUX_INSTALL/Disk1/install> ./runInstaller -responseFile /usr/opt/psoft/TUX_INSTALL/response.rsp –silent –invPtrLoc /usr/opt/psoft/oraInventory/oralnst.loc

Starting Oracle Universal Installer...

Checking swap space: must be greater than 500 MB. Actual 7679 MB Passed

Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors

>>> Could not execute auto check for display colors using command /usr/bin/xdpyinfo. Check if the DISPLAY variable is set. Failed <<<<
