Incorrect GROUP BY Is Generated in Mappings Using CONCAT Operation After Upgrade from ODI 11g to 12c (Doc ID 2291870.1)

Symptoms

Integration Interfaces using the CONCAT character function were successfully running in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g. After upgrading to ODI 12.2.1.2.6, the the generated code in the mappings contains a GROUP BY, which is incorrect.

Note the behavior is also observed when smart exporting the Integration Interface from ODI 11g, and importing into ODI 12c.
