OdiImportObject Fails With Different Errors Depending On The ODI Object Type That Is Been Imported

On Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, the OdiImportObject tool fails with different errors depending on the object that is been imported:

The same behavior also affects ODI 11g, where a slightly different error message would be received:

$ ./sh startcmd.sh OdiImportObject -FILE_NAME=/app/result/testproject.xml -IMPORT_MODE=DUPLICATE
OracleDI: Starting Command : OdiImportObject -FILE_NAME=/app/result/testproject.xml -IMPORT_MODE=DUPLICATE ...
