Added Custom UDF In Organization Form is Not Saving the Updates to ACT table (Doc ID 2296425.1)

After adding a new field in Organization form by following the standard procedure, it appears to have successfully added in the form.
But while performing smoke test, the value provided in the newly created field is not getting saved in the form, as well as not in the DB ACT table, though the column name is there.
