Symptoms

OSB inserting Unicode characters in place of UTF-8 encoded characters

• In OSB Project,  calling an external (Oracle R12) REST web service,
• In response, getting some business data
• But while receiving this data from the Oracle R12 REST web service through OSB, special character is getting inserted into the response elements in place of ‘-’, despite setting the UTF-8 encoding in all schemas
• And on calling the same Oracle R12 REST web service from other tools like Advanced REST client/ POSTMAN, we get the correct value like '-'
