Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio 12.2.1.0.0, a mapping is created with a lookup table containing an outer join. On the mapping Physical tab, if a custom SQL statement is specified in the CUSTOM_TEMPLATE option of the Extract Options page of the object Properties, the query does not get used in the generated code.
