Symptoms

When using the Update Schedule option in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio with a J2EE Agent, ODI Studio hangs, and the number of threads as reported by WebLogic Server (WLS) Administration Console suddenly increases.

The number of threads can be noted by selecting the ODI managed server, and going to the Monitoring page and selecting Threads.
