RequestTimeoutException thrown due to Disk failure on Coherence Storage enabled nodes (Doc ID 2304236.1)

Symptoms

On : 3.7.1.7 version, Oracle Coherence. Customer experienced a severe problem with coherence cluster that made all the application servers into TIMED_WAITING on lock com.tangosol....
Parts of the problem was that one of the storage enabled members in the cluster got Drive Array Controller Failure (Slot 0) problem. The same time the entire production site got stalled due to this.

From the tomcat server logs, noticed request timeout errors from the application nodes.
