Goal
When using an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Mapping to extract data from an Oracle table to an ASCII flat file (to be uploaded to a COBOL mainframe), the ASCII file is created using leading spaces instead of zeroes.
However, the ASCII file needs to be left-padded with a control code to be able to properly import into the COBOL mainframe. How can the ASCII file be modified for processing on the COBOL Mainframe?
