"Invalid object name" Error when Executing in ODI 12c Mappings Upgraded from ODI 11g (Doc ID 2305889.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g to ODI 12.2.1.2.6, some mappings fail to execute.

These mappings contain SQL sub-queries based on the target table.

The execution fails with the error below:

ODI-1228: Task Insert flow into I$ table-IKM MSSQL Incremental Update- fails on the target connection <CONN_NAME>.
Caused By: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: [FMWGEN][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid object name '<SCHEMA_NAME>.dbo.<TABLE_NAME>'.
