Oracle Fusion Middleware Upgrade Assistant Readiness Check Fails with the Error "UPGAST-00271: Validation of specified domain failed" (Doc ID 2306878.1)

Symptoms

While upgrading Forms and Reports 12.2.1.1.0 to 12.2.1.3.0, readiness check fails wit the error "UPGAST-00271: Validation of specified domain failed" once domain directory is specified.

UPGAST-00271: Validation of specified domain failed. <Path to Domain Home>

Cause: The specified domain failed validation which will prevent domain reconfiguration.

Action: Refer to the Troubleshooting section of your upgrade documentation for info on supported domain upgrades. See the log file for details of the validation failure.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install 12.2.1.1 infrastructure

2. Install 12.2.1.1 Forms and Reports.

3. Run RCU to create schemas

4. Configure Forms and Reports 12.2.1.1

5. Start all the services and confirm everyting is working in 12.2.1.1.0

6. Install 12.2.1.3 infrastructure

7. Run ua -readiness and errors are seen after entering domain home
