Sharing-Enabled Parameter from weblogic-application.xml Causing Exception in Log (Doc ID 2310177.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.9.161128 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a 11g WebCenter Portal Framework application, with sharing-enabled parameter set to true in weblogic-application.xml file, every time the session has timed out an exception is written in the logs.

Application is working as expected from user perspective, but the below exception is seen in server logs. The exception is thrown each time a session has timed out. In an environment with many users this could lead to problems with the log dimension and rotation.
