A test with an EJB based JAX-WS web service consistently fails with NullPointerExceptions.  Here is the stack trace:

java.lang.NullPointerException at weblogic.ejb.container.internal.BaseWSLocalObject.__WL_preInvoke( at Source) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke( at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke( at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke( at weblogic.wsee.server.ejb.WsEjb.preInvoke( at weblogic.wsee.jaxws.WLSEjbInstanceResolver$WLSEjbInvoker.invoke( at weblogic.wsee.jaxws.WLSInstanceResolver$WLSInvoker.invoke( at$2.invoke(

The problem began upon upgrading to WebLogic version 12.2.x from a previous WebLogic version.
