Symptoms

Running a report with DESTYPE=file and DESNAME pointing to a NFS location fails as follows.

REP-50159: The report generated successfully but distribution to destinations failed.
REP-50127: Destination ID XXX_YYY failed with error File FILE.pdf cannot be written to..

Trace information

*** /nfs_folder and /nfs_folder/reports/output are defined in reports server configuration file (rwserver.conf) under <folderAccess> in the "write" TAG.


Sending report output to a local filesystem location like /tmp or $ORACLE_HOME works.
