Purpose

This document is meant to provide hints and tips on installing and operating Oracle Identity Manager services within docker containers.

Scope

This Note discusses both OIM 11g and 12c versions. Specifically tested were versions 11.1.2.3.0 and 12.2.1.3.0, though you may have success with earlier versions also, those have not been attempted by the author of this doc. Also note that there are various architectures that can be employed, one container for everything, one container per managed server, etc... This doc addresses just one setup scenario, so adapt to your own desires as needed.
