OID 12c: Upgrading A Collocated 11g Oracle Internet Directory (OID) to (With Screenshots) (Doc ID 2317140.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version to [Release 12c]
Linux x86-64

This document provides a walk through for upgrading a Collocated Oracle Internet Directory (OID) (11g Patch Set 7) installation to a Collocated (12c Patch Set 3) OID and Domain.  These steps have not been validated against previous patchsets, and are not appropriate for Stand-Alone OID environments, nor are they appropriate for migrating a Stand-Alone OID environment to a Collocated environment, or migrating from a Collocated environment to a Stand-Alone environment.

The environment documented includes a fully functional OID configured/integrated with a 10.3.6 Weblogic domain, with Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) deployed in the WLS_ODS1 Weblogic Managed Server.

The full steps are documented in the "Fusion Middleware Upgrading Oracle Internet Directory", an online version of which can currently be accessed via the URL:
