Symptoms

OUD Proxy to AD Virtualization: orclGUID to objectGUID attribute mapping

OUD version: 11.1.2.3.170718
AD: Windows 2012 R2

Note: This issue occurs on both OUD Proxy 11g & 12c.

OUD acts as the proxy server to virtualize the back-end AD. Configured OUD orclGUID to AD objectGUID attribute mapping using the OUD Transformation.

After the configuration:

OUD orclGUID shows a value of "<THIS_VALUE>" when searched using the ldapsearch command.
However, the AD objectGUID has a value of "<THIS_OTHER_VALUE>".
The two values do not match.

It seems that OUD does not handle the attribute mapping (orclGUID objectGUID) correctly.

The attribute mapping works in OVD.

Changes

Migration from OVD 11.1.1.9 to OUD.
