How to Bind WebCache Server to Listen on a Single IP Address? (Doc ID 2327951.1)

Goal

By default Webcache server is configured to listen on all IP Address . This note talks about the steps that can be followed to configure Webcache to listen on a single IP.

 1) Login to WebcacheAdmin console
 2) On the left side pane, choose "Listen Ports"
 3) Once this is selected, on the right side we can see the ports and Listen address ( by default it will be ANY). Select the radio button adjacent to each ports defined and provide the IP address that webcache needs to be bound to.
 4) Do the same for "Operation Ports" as well.
 5) Save and restart the Webcache
