Symptoms

While applying a JDeveloper/ADF patch, OPatch reports a patch conflict prerequisite check.

An OPatch conflict report output may look like this:

Patch [ 12345678 ] conflict with patch(es) [  87654321 ] in the Oracle Home.
To resolve patch conflicts please contact Oracle Support Services.
If you continue, patch(es) [&nbsp; 87654321 ] will be rolled back and the new Patch &nbsp;[ <span id="form1:panelPage1">12345678</span> ] will be installed.
