opmnctl redeploy Command Fails with the Error "java.net.ConnectException : Destination unreachable" (Doc ID 2330593.1)

Symptoms

While performing opmnctl redeploy, as the post install step for one of the one-off patch, the command fails with error "java.net.ConnectException: t3s://WebLogic_AdminServer_Host_Name:7001: Destination unreachable"

Command used:

opmnctl redeploy -adminHost WebLogic_AdminServer_Host_Name -adminPort administration_server_port_number

Changes

WebLogic *AdminServer* was configured for *SSL only* i.e the HTTP port is *DISABLED*.
HTTP Port was enabled during patch post install steps.
