Content Tree or Configure Global Search does not Display due to Corrupted Global Record in IndexSourceMetaDataConfig Table.

When trying to expand a Content Tree or use the "Configure Global Search" tool, the below error is shown:
"An exception occurred on the server while executing UI/DATA/SEARCH/BROWSE: ServiceException: Unable to get search index Global.. If problem persists please contact the system administrator."
