Symptoms
The customer built a BPM process that initiates a correlation. Then, a BPEL calls the BPM process with that correlation value, which is entered by the user.
The correlation fails though, when the value is correct. (When the value is incorrect, a different error pops up).
This same scenario works well in version 12.1.3.0
