The UserSecurityAttributes Table Gets Updated For External Users. (Doc ID 2339053.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When a user initially logs into the WebCenter Content server, one that doesn't already have a row in the WCC Schema Users table, rows in the UserSecurityAttributes table are inserted for that user.

The UserSecurityAttributes table is only used to get the assigned roles and accounts for Local Content Server users.

It's not used for External users authenticated and authorized through the Weblogic LDAP providers. And normally, rows in the table do not get populated for these users.

So what causes rows to get added to the table for the External users?
