Can we have fail-over or HA functionality in OGG Big Data? (Doc ID 2342985.1)

Goal

We are running golden gate manager, 8 replicats for kafka on one VM.
What is the best practice to fail over? We have a second VM stand by, we are thinking to have both VMs running at the same time with same parameter files, but not sharing extract files.
The pump will connect to the two VMs through F5 (load balancer), the F5 setup so that only one host is really get the message (primary), if the primary dies for any reason, the port rely to second VM, would that works?
