Symptoms

Scenario 1 

Adding a new entry to OID with ldapmodify and ldif file such below:

dn: cn=<DB_ENTRY>,cn=OracleContext,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com

changetype: modify

add: orclnetdescstring

orclnetdescstring: (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = <DB_HOSTNAME>)(PORT = <PORT>)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED) (SERVICE_NAME = <DB_SERVICE_NAME>)))

Fails with:

ldap_modify: Protocol error

ldap_modify: additional info: No values given
