When Viewing PDF Files in Either of the WebCenter Content: Imaging Viewers Error "TCM-07048: Error transforming document" Occurs (Doc ID 2344061.1)

Symptoms

When viewing PDF documents, the following error occurs in both the Basic and Advanced Imaging Viewers.  Tif documents can be viewed without error.

Viewer Error:

Error Error Transforming Document

Imaging Diagnostic Log Error:

Error transforming document[[oracle.imaging.ImagingException: TCM-07048: Error transforming document faultType: SYSTEM
faultDetails: ErrorCode = oracle.imaging.RenderingException, ErrorMessage = There was an error launching the external transformation process: /tmp/<PATH>/<FILENAME>.pdf
Error : 1 - invalid file ID at oracle.imaging.pagecache.XformedDocCacheLoader.loadXFormedDocCache(XformedDocCacheLoader.java:107)

Changes

New install of 12c, upgrade to 12c, changed MBean configuration, changed setDomainEnv.sh
