Coordinated Replicat is slow with Large Barrier Transactions

Symptoms

Oracle DB : RDBMS_12.1.0.1.0_SOLARIS.SPARC64_RELEASE
OGG Label : OGGCORE_MAIN_PLATFORMS_130704.1400
Setup : 2-Node RAC SRC-DB (custdb),2-Node RAC DEST (WEBDB)

Observed severe degradation in performance for co-ordinated replicat(rep14). Usually 30 minutes workload is replicated with average lag less than 5 minutes, but
in the current run lag is more than 30 minutes and still replication is happening. The issue is observed in both Solaris and Linux.
