Enterprise Capture Email Import Is Not Converting Digitally Signed PDF Files (Doc ID 2351610.1)

In Enterprise Capture, PDF documents with digital signatures are converted, but the digital signature is lost in translation and there are no errors to indicate it failed. How can this be fixed?
