The Content Of The EJBCompilerCache Is Not Removed When Application is Undeployed (Doc ID 2354338.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.1.3.0.0 to 12.2.1.3.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When deleting an application, the application is rightly removed from the stage and tmp folder but this is not the case for the the EJBCompilerCache folder.

The side effect is that the installation of a new version of the application duplicates the content of the EJBCompilerCache folder and could lead to more disk space usage and manual cleanup
